And somehow, those same couples end up looking completely comfortable in their final gallery.

When you book a photographer, you are not just paying someone to own a camera and press a button.

You are also paying for direction.

I will tell you where to stand, where to put your hands, what direction to turn, when something needs adjusting, and what to do next.


You do not have to walk into your couples session knowing how to pose.

Not Every Photo Needs to Be a Pose

Some of my favorite photographs happen between the traditional poses. Maybe you start laughing because something went wrong. Maybe one of you says something ridiculous. Maybe you're walking together and forget about the camera for a second.


Those little moments are usually when your personalities start showing.


That is what I am looking for.

The Beginning Might Feel Weird

I am not going to lie and tell you that having a camera pointed at you immediately feels completely normal.


Sometimes the first few minutes feel a little strange.


Then you start talking, moving, laughing, and realizing that I'm not expecting you to become professional models.


That is when everything changes.


My goal is not to make you look like somebody else.


My goal is to photograph the way you naturally connect with each other while giving you enough direction to look and feel your best.
